Digital Portfolios For Any ClassDigital Portfolios are a great tool to use in your business and computer science classes. I am working on sharing an example of what I used for this in my business classes. I used Weebly for my students, but now they have done away with the education part of their website. After talking to a representative from Wix, they may have what I am looking for in digital portfolios. Stay tuned.
Hello Processing Editor and LessonsHello.Processing.org
Hello Processing has lessons that work your way through coding. You learn to code shapes, colors, interactions, and questions. There are videos along with a guide for other codes you can add to your coding. This would be good for Keycode to use as well as Computer Science 1. SpongeBob Coding in Hello ProcessingSpongeBob Coding Project
The prompt: Using the what you know from Hello Processing, create SpongeBob in the editor on Processing. You should have several holes in the sponge part of his body. You should have several circles for his eyes. Include his teeth and mouth. Last ,but not least, give your SpongeBob legs and feet. Below is an example of my student's work. Your SpongeBob can be more square if you like. The size of your canvas should be size(640,420). Don't forget to change the background at the beginning of your code too. Make sure SpongeBob is underwater. Check out CodeYourSelf Competition
